Quisine

Every cuisine begins with a Q, "What would I like to eat?" Have dietary restrictions? Food allergies? Craving something more sweet or savory? No problem. Quisine is an app designed to provide a recipe that fits your persona criteria.

Overview

Quisine was designed along with 5 others in a UI/UX course at UC San Diego. In just 5 weeks, our team did thorough user research, user testing, and created personas, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes to design an ideal solution to our problem.

Personas + Storyboards

Each team member was tasked with creating personas and designing storyboards for them to aid in our needfinding research. I was tasked with creating a "Working Mom" persona and sketched out the storyboards below.

Branding

Each team member was also tasked with creating logo sketches from which we were to vote on to find our branding for our team name, Ipsum.

Final Logo

My sketch was chosen as the sketch to base our final logo on. And that was how our team logo came to be.

Quisine Lo-fi Prototype

I created the lo-fi prototype based on our interviews we conducted on our target group with Adobe XD.

Quisine Commercials

We were required to come up with commercials showcasing our app's features. I filmed and edited all three of our commercials (one starring my dog) and helped come up with the concepts.

Final Product

Our final product is a fully function high fidelity prototype that showcases the features that solved our initial problems.
